Across the USA, people are going to gas stations and getting hit where it hurts, in the wallet. Gas prices are at an all-time high, a full dollar higher than this time last year. This is expected to continue in the coming months as the price of oil continues to rise. Ideal Shield offers removable, locking bollards to customers who need to restrict access to certain areas but also needs to be removable so the area can be easily accessed.
Recently the new pumping station for the Baltimore area sewage system needed bollard protection and had to be accessible for maintenance vehicles. Ideal Shield removable bollards were the perfect fit because they were made of galvanized steel to resist rusting and kept unauthorized vehicles out of the area.
Recently Ideal Shield was presented with a situation where employees were working on a roof with no fall protection in place. Fall protection was needed but the customer was concerned that there was nowhere on the roof to side mount the rails and surface mounting was out of the question because of the potential for water leaking through the roof.
Ideal Shield satisfied the customer’s need by providing them with our 42″ high roof rail system that uses 95 lb counter weighted base plates that do not need to be bolted down to any part of the roof and satisfies all OSHA requirements.
Recently we had a customer purchase almost 200 Ideal Shield Bumper Post Sleeves. We know we have a great product but like to hear from our customer why they purchase our sleeves.

We’ve had problems is the past with tape peeling off bumper post sleeves and no longer want them with tape. Ideal Shield sleeves do not have tape and they don’t have the grooves. They work great!
A customer had a problem with delivery trucks running into dock railing when backing up. Once the pre-fabricated railing got hit, rail would be damaged from the beginning of dock all the way up to the dock door
They installed Ideal Shield Industrial Pipe & Plastic Handrail, 9 foot sections of modular handrail. Now only the first nine foot section of handrail is damaged rather than the entire length of the truck dock. The replacement cost is minimal and much easier to fix. The handrail is maintenance free and never needs to be painted and has aluminum fittings that will not rust.
The customer now has a maintenance free system that is not as expensive to replace and looks great for years.
