Traffic Flow Problems

Recently Ideal Shield helped a hospital emergency room solve its traffic flow problems. ER visitors and patients could not easily see where they were supposed to park and where emergency vehicles took precedence and were creating flow problems in the parking lot.

Ideal Shield recommended the pyramid sign base in blue and red to increase signage visibility and make sure patrons could easily identify where they were supposed to park. U-Channel Covers were installed on all signs where existing u-channel has been utilized to give the parking lot a consistent look and keep all parking spots clearly marked.

Since the sign bases were installed the parking problem has all but disappeared and the hospital couldn’t be happier with the results.

New Products, New Season

Its been a busy first quarter at Ideal Shield. We constantly evaluate the needs of our customers and look to improve existing products or design new ones. We have three new products or improved products to share with you.

6″ Cinco Bollard Cover

Similar to the 10″ Cinco Bollard Cover but offers a new option for customers looking for an architectural cover.

Swinging Clearance Bar

In addition to the stationary clearance bar found at many drive thrus, banks and parking garages, Ideal Shield now offers a Swinging Clearance Bar that never needs to

be reset, no more having to reset the pin. It automatically goes back in place once the vehicle passes. YouTube video

U-Channel Sign System

Increasing sign visibility in parking lots just got easier. Bollard sign systems need a well fitting cover for the pole and now due to new  capabilities Ideal Shield offers a complete sign system with a well made, highly visible, well fit

option for covering sign bollards. The sign post cover is designed to cover a 1 1/2″ pip or 2 lb u-channel.
