Ideal Shield understands the importance of developing products that have a low impact on the environment. Our goal is to bring cost conscious, sustainable products to our customers. Over the past ten years our customers have helped to dramatically reduce the amount of paint consumed by utilizing our facility maintenance products. Now our customers can do even more by participating in our ReSleeve Program which allows for complete recycling of any brand of bumper post sleeves.

Since Jan, 2009 we have saved:

49.5 tons of plastic (equal to 9,900 1/4″ bollard covers) &

45,348 gallons of paint

Ideal Shield Green Initiative

The Ideal Shield ReSleeve program keeps sleeves out of the landfill through recycling. We recycle both Ideal Shield and other manufacturer sleeves while offering a discount on future Ideal Shield sleeve purchases.

How does this program work?

It’s a simple process that works! Customers send back their damaged or old bumper post sleeves and recycle it with our own excess material. Once here the plastic goes through a regrind process and is molded into new bumper post sleeves. Not only does the plastic not live forever in the landfill it goes back into your next sleeve order.
