HOW ABOUT THOSE RAVEN'S?

As we approach the end of summer and the beginning of fall many of us look forward to the beginning of the football season. The great thing about the season starting and games have yet to be played is that we are all in 1st place, unfortunately most (see Lions) won't remain there long.

One thing I do know for certain is that all the fans going to the Ravens football games will not have a hard time finding their way in the parking lots.

Congratulations John Hooper of  Fastsigns who sold the Ravens 25 Sign Base Systems in their purple and black colors to help delineate traffic. Previously John had also sold 60 of the same signs systems to the folks at the Superdome in New Orleans . How many stadiums in your town can use this product? Great job John!

HANDING IT OFF TO NEXT SAFETY

One of Ideal Shields newest dealer partners for our growing Canadian territory is Next Safety in Woodstock , Ontario . Next Safety is a reseller of Construction and Safety supplies that fit in well with the needs of the local consumer.

This year has been very profitable for both Ideal Shield and Next Safety with several significant handrail projects to a variety of customers in their areas. Next Safety excels on catering to clients needs and on being an on time provider of safety items.

Case in point is a recent handrail project that was in excess of $10,000.00! Next Safety and Ideal Shield partnered to manufacture and deliver this handrail which met and exceeded the end users expectations. The customer was extremely grateful for the assistance (Considering the short notice), and impressed with the high quality of product received.

We would like to commend Marcus Abernethie and his team for continuing to pursue their leads, and creating opportunities where there originally were none.

IDEAL SHIELD'S
STEEL PRICING REMAINS COMPETITIVE

Recently Dennis Knittel had the opportunity to meet with Action Door in Brooklyn Hts, OH. During the sales presentation, one of the products that was discussed was pipe bollards and the rising cost of pipe. With the escalating costs this was presented as an opportunity to take advantage of Ideal Shield's competitive sell price on pipe. Within days of their meeting Mike Wittwer was able to quote and land an order for 80 plated bollards. Great job Mike on "picking up the ball and running with it".

LEAD GENERATION AND OPTIMIZATION

Last week Antonio Rivera, Ideal Shield's Southwest District Sales Manager, followed up with Scott Buckley of Heavy Duty Services on a recent lead that was sent to him.   From that lead, Scott notified  Antonio  that he had closed the deal on Bollard Covers.   Scott went on to say " From the leads Ideal Shield has generated for me, I have had repeat customers that continue  to buy from me and have generated over $18,000.00 worth of sales ."  Through the partnership of Ideal Shield and our Dealers, we are able to assist in lead generation and ensure our shared customers a quick, responsive service.
