Ideal Shield’s line of American-made Bollards and Bollard Covers will protect EV Charging Stations from vehicle accidents. 

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations come in many different sizes and styles but all of them need quality protection as vehicles are pulling up to plug in consistently throughout the day. Ideal Shield’s U.S. Steel Bollards are available in several different options to ensure the right protection for your charging stations. 

Bollard options include 4″ – 8″ Bollards with or without base plates, Removable Locking Bollards, or for much stronger protection, the C40 Traffic Impact Bollard which is designed to stop a 5,000 lbs. vehicle at 30 mph. 

Standard heights include 27”, 36”, 42”, 48”, and 52”

To go along with the Bollards, we highly recommend adding one of our many Bollard Cover options to give your EV Charging Bollards a cleaner, maintenance-free look.

Bollard Cover options include 1/4″ Bollard Covers and 1/8″ Bollard Covers in Dome Top or Flat Top, and any of our applicable Decorative Bollard Covers. Each cover is available in a set of standard colors but can also be done in any color imaginable. Contact us for more details. 

If you’re looking for a different finish or looking to finish the steel post before installing the Bollard Cover, the Bollards are available in Raw, Galvanized, Primed, Finished Coat, or Powder Coated options.
